Pro Football Survivor is an app that helps you run and participate in Survivor-style, fantasy football leagues.Survivor leagues are simpler than standard fantasy football leagues because they don't require a lot of time associated with drafts and setting lineups. Simply choose a winning team during each week of the Pro Football season and survive. Those who don't choose a winner are eliminated. Last person standing wins the league. The catch? Each week requires a unique winning pick. Once a team has been burned, it can no longer be selected for the rest of the season.

Why Pro Football Survivor Is DifferentPro Football Survivor (PFS) app allows for one free Organized league and any number of joined leagues. A small fee is charged for multi-organized leagues to defray the costs of database infrastructure.The app provides more flexibility over league creation and settings. Each league can support either 1 or no re-entries which are gated by the Organizer. Re-entry can be configured so players must make either 1 or 2 winning picks during the week after re-entry.PFS allows for leagues to be deleted before "locking" but not after. Once a league is in the competition phase, it cannot be archived until the season is over. Each week, once the pick deadline has passed, every player can view each other player's pick and standings. If all remaining players are eliminated in a single week, they all move on to the next week. All players surviving the entire season are considered winners (they tie). Create a League

Enter League name, join code, choose starting week, and establish the pick deadline. Picks lock each week after this deadline time. Picks re-open after the current week ends and a new pick deadline is established that is at the same time as the first configured pick deadline.Select the tie rule and determine whether re-entry is allowed. You can configure re-entry to require either 1 or 2 correct picks in the week when the player re-enters and configure a cutoff week for re-entry.

Frequently Asked QuestionsQ. Can I run these leagues during preseason?
A. Currently competitions are confined to the regular season. Some beta testing was conducted during preseason.Q. Does the app take league entry fees into account?
A. No. The app is intended for entertainment purposes only. Any fees collected from players for the purposes of prizes are handled off-line by the organizer.Q. Does the app guarantee accuracy in its results and adjudication of survivors and winners?
A. No. While we strive for accuracy and proper controls, we cannot guarantee accuracy and you use the app as is and at your own risk with no implicit or explicit warranties. Organizers should verify results manually to ensure accuracy. Any discrepancies should be pointed out to the league players and corrections should be handled offline.Q. How does the re-entry feature work?
A. The league organizer can setup a league to allow re-entries. If re-entries are allowed (1 per player/league) the organizer determines whether 1 or 2 accurate picks are needed in the first week after re-entry. The organizer also chooses a cut-off date for re-entries. If a player is eliminated, he/she may request a re-entry. The organizer then can reject or approve the re-entry based on whatever offline arrangement the league has. If approved, the player then chooses either 1 or 2 (Org configured) winners in the following week of competition. If the player survives that week, following keeps will only require 1 winning team pick.Q. What happens if all players are eliminated in the same week.
A. If this happens before the final week of the season, all players advance unless they have used their re-entry. If there are players with no re-entry then only they advance. If only one player remains with no re-entry then they are the winner. If all had a re-entry, then all advance. If this happens after the last regular season game, all players win.Q. Does the re-entry sub-rule also apply at the end of the season?
A. No. There is no re-entry exception for a tie after the final game of the season.Q. Does the app cover the post-season?
